Air Asia Fare Rules : Flight Change or Name Change

Do you know that if you've purchased ticket during promotion time (economy promo), you still can do a flight change or a name change (depends on the flight fare rules of your itinerary).

I came across this topic because I think many of us don't know about this including me. I remember last time if we buy ticket under economy promo, we can't do any flight change or name change (or maybe because I never really read the fare rules section).

So, remember to always read the Fare Rules. Some do allow and some don't.

I bought a round trip ticket under economy promo for less than RM20 local flight. The Fare Rules are as the following :

Economy Promo

• Booking purchased under this fare type is ALLOWED to do a flight change up to 48 hours prior to scheduled departure time subject to a change fee chargeable per passenger per sector, plus any fare difference applicable.
• This fare type is ALLOWED to do a name change up to 48 hours prior to scheduled departure time subject to a change fee chargeable per passenger per sector.
• This fare type is capacity controlled and limited and hence, may not be available on all flights.
• This fare type is always subject to our General Terms and Conditions of Carriage & Fee Schedule (if applicable).
