Organic food are becoming popular as more people are health conscious nowadays and worry about the health and the safety of the food they eat.

A lil' bit info of what is exactly organic food?

Organic foods are those that are produced using environmentally sound methods that do not involve modern synthetic inputs such as pesticides and chemical fertilizers, do not contain genetically modified organisms, and are not processed using irradiation, industrial solvents, or chemical food additives

Organic food are processed from organic farming. Foods that claimed to be organic must be free of artificial food additives, and are often processed with fewer artificial methods, materials and conditions, such as chemical ripening, food irradiation, and genetically modified ingredients. (wiki)

Some reports said the content, nutritional value of organic food compare to non-organic food doesn't differ much but some said it was significantly different. It's also said that organic food contain higher vitamin C and consuming it in long-run is good for our health. Nevertheless, it's up to consumer to make their choices on consuming organic food or not as sometimes (I think) organic food has been somewhat overhyped and hence, make it expensive than the price it should cost.
