Slim Wallet

>> Sunday, September 23, 2012

Found  a slim wallet in the www from koyono store. I looove the design and the slim look of it. They have Slimmy® Special Edition which adds a little individuality for you front pocket wallet enthusiasts. From the website, they have wwSlimmy, Slimmy/ViewSlimmy and SlimSlimmy. There are just too many things that you need to carry nowadays; smartphones, dslr, car key etc. It's time to slim up the wallet. Don't think it's selling here but the design is nice, so I'll just keep it here. The wallet is said to be hand crafted from the highest quality full grain leather sourced in South America. With this Slimmy wallet, we can throw the traditional wallet. Haha~~ will be hunting more slim wallets. Didn't know that there are so many out there.

Maaf Zahir & Batin

Would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Segala salah dan silap harap dilupakan and marilah mula lembaran baru. Hehe... Also, happy holidays to those who are still in holiday mood. I miss kuih makmur badly... craving for it. I've ate few raya cookies, rendang, ketupat, nasi impit and lontong (and I thought lontong was the mee thingy...not. they shared the same name I guess).

Lontong is something like ketupat but wrap with daun pisang (banana leaf) and ketupat is wrap with daun kelapa (palm leaves). Both taste nice to me.

Resepi for kuih makmur found from this blog; hairul's blog. The url title is  resepi kuih makmur special style sabah. Nyummay~~ I must try to do it someday. Last was during primary school. wooaah~~

It's been so long...

>> Sunday, June 10, 2012

that I have neglected my space.. Oh my my.. I'm watching Euro 2012 now, Netherlands vs Denmark with Denmark leading (1). It's demam bola 'ball fever' season now I guess. So, what's up with me lately? I hit my world record with 24hr not sleeping last week. I can't believe it as well. Preparation, helping and doing it... Wedding is a tiring thing. Agree or not...It was fun planning a wedding aka wedding planner. However, things do turn out ugly when unexpected things happened. All in all, it was a great experience and an eye opener of one's capability. Despite the stress, wedding planner is a fun job after all. [Commentator shouting Van Persi, Van Persi].

Catch up later, peeps!

American Idol Winner (Backstage): Phillip Phillips Calls Win "So Unreal"

>> Saturday, May 26, 2012

After last night's 132 million votes and a star-studded grand finale show, confetti showered down as Phillip Phillps was crowned the new American Idol.

Sitting with 6,999 other Idol fans in the Nokia Theatre, there was no denying the vibe was electric. The audience was absolutely going nuts over the superstar guest performances and fancy stage production, but however great the entertainment, fans were still chomping at the bit for the final results, and it's safe to say no one was sitting down when Ryan Seacrest broke the news.

So what was Phillips' reaction, and how is runner-up Jessica Sanchez handling her loss now that the cameras stopped rolling?

'American Idol' Voters 'Were Wrong' On Jessica Sanchez, Steven Tyler Says

Aaah Jessica Sanchez out??? unbelievable!! Luckily she's saved.... Hmm is this because of her pinoy-blood.? As you can see/analyze, rarely any 'Asian-mix-blood' manage to go to the top. Come on...her voice is good..awesome much!

My Michelle Lazar Soothing Serum

>> Tuesday, April 10, 2012

Hi Peeps! Finally, the moisturiser that I am getting for my skin is none other than Michelle Lazar Brand! My trial on their products started when I took the facial deal sometime ago. Then, I tried with the travel set/ trial kit which consist of facial wash, toner, soothing serum, and sunblock. I was attracted with their toner as the consultant demoed it on me that you don't need to wipe it on face with cotton pad like how we normally use to with liquid solution toners. I'm abit impressed at that moment I must say. Hehe...You just need to pat the toner and it will settle on its own with a smooth finish feeling. I'm comfortable with the products as they settle quite fast on my skin. So, after long consideration (in which I was planning for Estee Lauder but guess they're too pricey for me now), I made up my mind and take the big bottle of Michelle Lazar's soothing serum. Not that big tho' as the normal size is 30ml. It's selling for RM153 in their site and I bought mine for RM118 at member price. Every ml is like 3.90 ooh.....How I wish it's 50ml... It works well on my skin which is a normal skin, non-oily and not so dry just incase you might want to try. So far, from what I heard it will suit on all skin-type and they have range for sensitive and oily skin as well. The cleansing wash and toner for oily/sensitive range is in pink colour! Like! I'll check if there's any difference if normal skin use the toner specialize for oily/sensitive skin. Haha...so that I can get the pink solution! :D That's all for now, gotta go and do my face prep.

Finally, American Idol‘s season 11 Top 13 : Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Hollie Cavanagh, Joshua Ledet, Heejun Han, Shannon Magrane, Skylar Laine, Elise Testone, Colton Dixon, Jermaine Jones, and wild cards Erika Van Pelt (Randy’s choice), Jeremy Rosado (Jennifer Lopez), and DeAndre Brackensick (Steven Tyler).

Colton Dixon

Deandre Brackensick

Elise Testone

Erika Van Pelt

Heejun Han

Hollie Cavanagh

Jeremy Rosado

Jermaine Jones

Jessica Sanchez

Joshua Ledet

Phillip Phillips

Shannon Magrane

Skylar Laine

All my favourites are in the Top 13... Woohoo! Colton, Heejun, Jessica, Skylar, Hollie... The best of the best that didn't make it : Aaaron Marcellus, Adam Brock, Baylie Brown, Brielle Von Hugel, Chase Likens, Chelsea Sorrell, Creighton Fraker, Eben Franckewitz, Haley Johnsen, Hallie Day, Jennifer Hirsh and Reed Grimm. I thought that Brielle will make it as she was doing good in her performance although she might looked abit too over confident..well, not sure what the others think.. Baylie is pretty but maybe her voice doesn't impressed much. I like Eben too...but it was expected I guess.. Haley reminded me of "It's Jess!" from The New Girl (Zooey Deschanel), maybe it's the fringe.. Reed Grimm - talented especially during his audition times.

Colton's voice is aaah, awesome! His punkish look might just be the 'in' thing besides his great voice, you wouldn't know what will happen next.. probably his hairstyle will be everywhere around. Hah! Heejun... He is funny! Whatever he answered, it's always sounds funny.. Look at what he answered during their Q&A session..lol. Jessica's voice is powerful! Love her. Skylar rocks! Really a rock-country singer! So, who's your favourite? Jermaine, the deep voice guy is so tall, you can see the comparison when he's beside Ryan.

Next week theme : Stevie Wonder and tribute to Whitney Houston..

Read more from insidetv about them...

Here's one extracted from the site:
What sets you apart from the other contestants?

DeAndre Brackensick: Other than my hair? [Laughs] I do have a big, big range. I have a low voice, and I have a very, very high voice. I try to use the high to my advantage, not too much. But hopefully the high can push me through at least to tour.
Skylar Laine: I’m the only country person left in the group, so that sets me apart.
Shannon Magrane: I definitely do think I stick out from the crowd being tall. [6-foot, ¾-inches tall, exactly]
Jessica Sanchez : I think we all have our different styles. I’m the more mainstream kind of pop urban singer. I love attitude and bringing new things to the table. I think what separates me from the other contestants is that I’ve done this before and I’ve been watching American Idol since I was a very little girl and I’ve been preparing myself throughout the years for this moment. And I’m here now and I’m ready to work hard.
Elise Testone: I have lots and lots of experience. I’ve been in so many bands. I’ve been a backup singer, a lead singer, I have a music degree. There are a lot of things the younger competitors have that I don’t have, so I do see a nice healthy competition going on.
Erika Van Pelt: I have sort of a unique tone and timbre. I like to belt it out and I sort of can pull it back and do sort of these more restrained tunes, but when I get going I like to rock out and I like to squall and I like to show people I have that rock edge, too.
Heejun Han: The fact that I’m a very good-looking guy. I love it… I’m just being myself all the time. That’s me.
Colton Dixon: I’m so different from everyone else. I’m the only rocker left, first of all. I’m so happy about that. Erika has a little bit of the rock thing going, but the guy-girl thing, it’s not going to matter.
Phillip Phillips: I’m just trying to change the songs up to make them my own. I don’t know if anyone plays the guitar on the show. I’m just trying to be myself.
Jeremy Rosado: I know that I have the favor of God, and that’s gonna get me farther than anything else.
Hollie Cavanagh: People don’t expect my voice to come out of me because I’m tiny. A lot of people say I have a big voice.
Joshua Ledet: My genre. I don’t think there is anyone in the competition who sings the gospelly type, so that is probably the big separation between me and other contestants.
Jermaine Jones: My deep bass baritone voice, my height — 6-foot, 8 ½ inches, and don’t take away my half! — my stature.

London Bridge is falling down....

falling down..falling down....

Aarghh... Somehow this song crossed my mind. It's a happy nursery rhyme right? I'm on the verge of depression and am falling apart. The lyrics might suits me but not the music. It may fits in when you change the tune to a sad scary one tho'.

I am not focused and my 'lines' infront me are all scattered. Seriously, the idea of getting out from here or tanam my head are the only thing in my mind now. What will ever happen if I am half-sane? I can't handle it no more... Gosh, crazy! Need a peaceful mind, peaceful place and look what I've found.. a peaceful silence art. : /
