Still outraged with the 'totally unjustified' red card for Kaka

"It was unfair, but I don't want to talk about the red card. The image will speak for me," said Kaka, who set up two of Brazil's goals. "It's a pity I'll miss the next match, but I'm trying to look for the positive. I'll have more time to prepare for the second round."

That's the football spirit from Kaka!

I think this is the most discussed issue so far. Even wiki wiki (wikipedia it is) has updated their info...

Kader Keita

From Wikipedia

Abdel-Kader Keïta is an Ivorian professional football player. Keïta plays as a winger for Galatasaray in the Turkish Super League and the Cote d'Ivoire national football team. He is a versatile player who posesses the ability to fall down screaming like a little girl, clutching his face, regardless of whether he was actually hit in the face or not.

No Fair Play FIFA 2010 - Côte d'Ivoire's Drama!

Victory to Brazil with 3-1 against Ivory Coast. Brazil is through to the second round! Yeay! But I'm frustrated with the red card!! What a disappointing red card from the UN-fair referee - Stephane LANNOY - ANNOYing (who was not even looking that time). Photo above: Ivory Coast player, Abdul Kader Keita faking it, lying on the ground after running himself (obviously) towards Kaka of Brazil. Kaka didn't hit his face or elbowed him as seen from the close-up replay because he ran into Kaka from behind. Maybe he wanted to get an award for the best acting scene of FIFA 2010, so he kept on struggling on the ground with the hand covering his face for no reason to catch the attention of the ref. Is this one of their strategy? Fall and cry out loud as if you're in damn pain?? What a shame... Hopefully the player will be suspended. Where is FIFA Fair Play role?

South Africa 2010 - Game Schedule Malaysia Time

>> Saturday, June 12, 2010

World Cup fever going on....Are you catching it? I thought I won't but after triggered with bettings from my friends and workmates.. I got excited! Haha. I still remember the most memorable FIFA world Cup 2002 during my school time. My favourite player was Kaka although he was quite a newcomer that time, but he performed very well. I and my friends were crazy during those times, staying up late just to catch up with our favourite team and meet up in class talk bout it all day long. With our creativity, we even made our own unique design of the team and player that we supported. That 'historical piece of art' have been 'stored' in a scrapbook. Funny moments.

Anyways, this year 2010 surely won't be the same. Different environment, different friends, different place... Still, I enjoyed it. Match schedule of FIFA 2010 (Malaysia time). Gonna have panda eyes...

Rejuvenating O2 Bubble Cleanser Review

>> Wednesday, June 9, 2010

Source : Rejuvenating O2 Bubble Cleanser

Bioglo, Rejuvenating O2 Bubble Cleanser claimed to revive your dull and tired looking skin by infusing vital oxygen (O2) to your skin; giving you an instant boost and a vibrant glow complexion. Our skin's ability to take in oxygen from the air starts to decline after our 20s, and is reduced to 50% by the time we reach our 50s. There are studies show that the cells that make up our body have used half of the division available in their cell lifespan by the time we're 20. Oxygen plays a vital role for skin cells to function well, renew cells, repair and rejuvenate. In short, our skin needs oxygen to stay healthy. Without O2 and nutrients, the cell reproduction will be slowed down and our new skin cells won't be healthy. This will lead to premature aging, fine lines, wrinkles and lack of healthy skin tone and texture. Polluted environment plus the stress in everyday life and also those who smoke will also contribute to skin deprivation of O2. Spending hours in air-conditioned room is also not good for your skin.

So, back to the bubble cleanser. First time using it, I wasn't sure how to apply it as I normally make my face wet before applying any facial wash. I did the same thing for this and nothing came out. Just like transparent liquid. Felt weird at first as the picture shows that there's bubbles after applying. My sis corrected me, the cleanser need to be applied direct to the face after you pump it. There's no need to wet your face as the bubbles won't appear. I tried and yeah, it worked. The texture will become foamy-like on your skin. After washing, my skin feels fresh, clean and most importantly - moisturised. Not too dry. I'm loving this cleanser now. Been using it for more than a month now. Some commented that my skin looks fairer. Am not sure whether this cleanser has anything to do with it or not. Hopefully it will do good to my skin, since it is suppose to promote the production of collagen and elastin, accelerates skin renewal and regeneration.

Lame Post about my beloved Laptop Charger

>> Tuesday, June 8, 2010

I don't like this place... It's Papparich Restaurant, Cheras Tun Hussein Onn (yeah, you ain't go be a rich pappa by eating there)

I wanted to online, so was looking for a nice comfy place to surf the net. I chose this place because it looks ok from the outside (Never judge the book by its cover, huh). I went in, and asked the staff whether they have wifi service. He told me that they have sockets outside area. I looked around, the plugs are on the wall left side and the tables are arranged on the right side. SO, in between is the laluan. Once I saw the plug sockets and the table, I kept looking left right left right. Sheezz.... I have to let down my cable charger on the floor. And it will be dirty, step by people. Sigh.. Then, I tried to put the cable on the chair to avoid it from touching the floor. I was relieved cus was thinking I saved 'them' from the dirty floor. Then, the staff saw my cable on the chair. He wanted to put it down. I said I don't want (with innocent eyes). His friend came and said can he put it down. I said Nooo.... (muka kesian). At the end, looks like they don't understand what I said. There my cable charger went down on the floor. Daymn!!! Segala dettol, wipes trus pop in my head. I'm not a clean freak ok...hehe. But I always try to avoid any dirty contact. I imagine all the bacterias in 50X zoom in microscope ( I can't erase that image). That's all bout my rant on this place. Not that I don't like the staff or this place but my cable charger.......aaah. Haha. Anyhoo, the food wasn't nice. I ordered lime barley. Around 20 mins then the drink arrived. It's just barley syrup and half lime dumped in. Too sweet lagi tu. My chicken chop rice arrived 30 mins late. The rice was cold and chicken salty.

Any difference between Cosway and eCosway?

>> Monday, June 7, 2010

I just joined eCosway after introduced by my sis. Cosway is not a new thing. I think everyone know Cosway since they existed. I knew bout it because my mum used to buy their products. I still remember NutriJuice, PowerMax (i think) detergent, cookies, and many more. I'll be the small kiddo following my mum and wait in the shop while she and the shop owner calculating total and points and chitchat. Now, (tidak sangka) I'm the one who shop in Cosway. Hehe..

A quickie info about Cosway and eCosway :

COSWAY began operations in December 1979, with a simple concept of distributing quality products at highly competitive prices through a unique Network Marketing system. Today, it has grown to become one of Asia's largest Network Marketing companies. The COSWAY formula has helped thousands of members to achieve tremendous financial success. Here are some facts about COSWAY:

  • COSWAY's 5Ps of Marketing - A powerful combination of effective business and marketing strategies.
  • Authorised Capital of RM500 million and a Paid-up Capital of RM155 million.
  • A subsidiary of Berjaya Group, a multinational conglomerate known for its diversified interests.
  • Headquartered in Wisma COSWAY with majority ownership of the office space. This 26-storey building is located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur's premier Golden Triangle.

source : cosway.com.my

eCosway to me, it's just the same with cosway. Just that, it's bringing a new concept of marketing on par with the growth and development of information technology and e-commerce. It is launched in 2002 and rapidly growing till now. Its unique Mutual Marketing business model provides lucrative opportunity for Business Owners and high quality, competitively priced products for consumers. If I'm not mistaken, eCosway provide everything to those who are interested to become business owner. Open a shop and they will pay everything. err, I'm not sure about the details. But if anyone interested, I can dig out the information and we can duduk and cerita-cerita...Hehe...

With the power of Mutual Marketing™, eCosway gives three groups of people mutual advantage.

  • Shoppers win with great products, great rewards
  • Suppliers win with exposure to loyal and committed customers from all over the world at no extra cost.
  • Business Owners win with the opportunity to earn long-term income with a unique turn-key, risk-free Business Ownership Support System (B.O.S.S.).

You can find ecosway anywhere wolrdwide; Australia, USA, China, Indonesia etc. Okay, that's all la. I'll brag more about the products later on.

R.I.P - to the innocent victim

Read the following news taken from the star...

Outrage over fiery death

When I read this news yesterday, I was at rage with this accident. A woman's death caused by a very unhelpful BHP petrol attendants. It was reported that the BHP attendants refused to open the door for Teo as he was not acting calmly when asking for assistance. How can a normal person acts calm when he just saw a woman's life in danger and first thing he wanted to do is save her as fast as he could? Well, in that situation it is clearly seen that the attendants were calm in handling that matter by refusing to help and even defending themselves saying Teo wasn't in a proper act. They were wrong and yet they're giving their excuse to 'protect' themselves. Sigh! Inhuman!

That's my personal opinion. I'm sure for the management, they will view that according to their rules. Like maybe you should not open the door for anyone or attend anyone acting suspiciously or bla bla bla. Again, the attendant in the shop was not alone. He could have asked his friend to quickly pass the fire extinguisher to Teo, he can take Teo's IC as guarantee (as he had offered that) or in whatsoever way, he could have at least done something not just stand inside there. Takkan the attendant don't have his own instinct or belas kasihan or hati perut. If I were Teo I will surely naik gila with that attendants and forever have that non-erasable feeling seeing the woman at that moment.

source : ondscene

Below is the excerpt taken from malaysiakini :

I was willing to leave my IC with the staff as a guarantee, but they refused,” said Teo.

Angered at the staff’s refusal to cooperate, he started yelling at the staff and said that if the victim died, they would be the murderers.

In retaliation, the staff instead threatened to report Teo to management as well as the police.

When it was clear he would not get any aid, he returned to the accident site.

By the time he returned, the fire had consumed the car along with its driver.

What saddens Teo is that he claims police at the scene said that the driver’s life could have likely been saved if a fire extinguisher had arrived in time.

According to a representative from the fire department, the accident claimed one life in total with two others in critical condition while another person, the lorry driver, was stable.

Update: The deceased is believed to be Florina ak Joseph, 27, a Sarawakian native and a student. Confirmation of the deceased’s identity is pending DNA test results.

Photos of the accident were posted up on the Ondscene blog, by an anonymous bystander.

BHP government relations manager Abdul Kaiyum when contacted claimed that the BHP attendants refused to open the door for Teo as he was not acting calmly when asking for assistance. Neither did they refer to their supervisor because it was past midnight.

In defence of the staff in charge, he said that the two of them previously had been attacked and beaten up by assailants while on duty at the station. Update: BHP clarified that there will be no formal press conference over the matter and has yet to release a formal media statement.

Woman loses RM1.2mil to ‘British’ man through Internet

I believe anyone who reads this news will have different reaction. Some might say, this woman is stupid. Some might pity her. But, whatever it is, as an outsider we won't know what situation she's facing during those time until she agreed and decided to give her money.

I copied one of the paragraph from the news :

".... the man told her that he was sending 10 gifts for Easter, including a designer wrist watch, perfume, a Louis Vuitton bag, jewellery, a laptop computer, a camera and his latest picture through a courier service in April"

RM 16,500 for the gifts? Is it reasonable? I don't think so. She can even buy it on her own if she has that much cash to deposit to the guy. Maybe the guy's picture worth more...

Hope that all ladies, women, girls out there, always becareful with this kind of scam. It is the easiest 'making-money-job' for the scammers. If not, they won't even do it.

Where to Buy Cheap Handphone Screen Protector

>> Wednesday, June 2, 2010

Why do you need a screen protector? Main reason - Of course, to protect your mobile phone from scratches and to maintain the body/condition of your phone. Secondly, just in case if you plan to sell it off in the future, at least the value of your handphone will be higher than those with old-look-scratchy-handphones. Right? I, myself would not choose a bad condition handphone. When my friends or family ask me to buy screen protector for them or ask for recommendation, I will always answer... "please go buy online okay" because I will never buy it from the mobile phone shop. Then normally I will receive this kind of answer "but I don't know how to buy online ooh, you help me eh". You see this kind of people, never make use of the internet or maybe they are skeptical about online shopping. Don't know what era are they in. The screen protectors sold in the mobile phone shop are expensive. The price is normally around RM 18 to RM25. I surveyed before and the seller gave me RM 30, after discount RM25. I left the shop. Buying online, you can get it for as low as RM3 or RM 5 and RM10 depending on the phone models.

Nowadays, you can get many types of screen protector; the normal clear transparent type, mirror effect type, anti-finger print type, matte surfacetype, and privacy viewing effecttype. All with their pros and cons. For mirror effect, it will be difficult to see your screen in daylight (esp under hot sunny day) and privacy effect type will reduced the transparency and touchscreen response.

I like the mirror effect because you can always peek at yourself anywhere, anytime (obsessed kan =P) . I plan to buy another clear transparent type for Nokia N79. Special edition for only RM 5 !

Ugly Big Butterfly

While waiting....... I went to Monrods Kitchen at Cheras. It's a random pick out of several cafes/restaurants/kopitiam there. The full name of the restaurant is Monrods Kitchen Nasi Ayam Periuk Besar & Western Bob. Obviously serving nasi ayam and maybe some western stuffs. But I only ordered Chococino Ice Blended. The taste is like normal chocolate. So, don't expect too much from it. While sitting and surfing the net using their free wi-fi, suddenly a big butterfly flying in. It was so ugly. I still keep my cool not to move or jump away. But the thing kept flying up and down, left and right.. then it goes near me (like trying to attack me) (ps: that 'thing' IS big). At last, it forced me to move away from my position..and still flying again... I almost jump to wherever I could as long as the thing is not in contact with me. The waiter saw me (giggled) and about to help me. Luckily, right at that time, that ugly-big-butterfly flew away. Butterfly does look pretty in pictures, graphics, and the small types.... but the huge one... urgh, No!

I was browsing through the net and don't know how I stumbled on this product. The price is $8.00

Details of the lunch box -
Anti-Theft Lunch Bags are zipper bags that have green splotches printed on both sides, making your freshly prepared lunch look spoiled. Don't let a sticky-fingered coworker or schoolyard bully get away with lunch theft again!

Material: Food-safe reusable and recyclable LDPE
Dimensions: 6.875h × 6.625"w
Quantity: 25 bags per package

This anti-theft lunch bag reminds me of my friend. She hates it when her housemate 'steal' her chocolates in the fridge. The first time, the cholocates were finished. Second time, two small bars gone. Will there be a third time? She should buy anti-theft container if there's any in the market or container that need password to be opened. Haha!
