Perfume Scams Online * Part One 1*

>> Sunday, August 8, 2010

If you think you've found a great deal, cheap price, an attractive bargain on perfume from website like Ebay, be sure to check on seller's profile and feedback.

Few things (precaution steps) to do before placing bid or buying item.

(a) Read through what other customers have to say about the seller.
Only satisfied customer who really did received the perfume will give good and positive feedback/review/comment.

(b) What item did the customers purchased?
Although seller is selling perfume mainly (in which the customer's feedback should be related to perfume that they purchased), sometimes if you click on the item details, it is other non-related item.

(c) Did the perfume arrive as expected?
You can always check on seller's identity elsewhere to find out if other buyers receive their item on time or not.

(d) Other than that, see how's the feedback 'pattern' like
See clearly and you will notice the same buyer (nickname) giving feedback to the seller. Or the way the feedback/comment given. The comments are always written/phrased in almost the same manner.

(e) and spend time to check on some of the buyer's profile and feedback page.
You will see the feedback are mostly contributed by the same buyer with ZERO or less than 10 feedback. When you go to their feedback page, you will notice some familiar id/nickname of other buyers that had left feedback on the perfume seller's page also.

Example : Perfume seller (A), Buyer 1 (B), Buyer 2 (C), Buyer 3 (D). Feedback page of A with good ratings and high number of feedback. In there, you saw some of other buyers left their feedback. You randomly choose buyer B, C, and D, and check their profile and feedback page. In buyer B's feedback page, you notice buyer D had left feedback there. In buyer C's page, buyer B had left feed back there....vice versa and so on. You can click on all the IDs on the perfume seller 's feedback page. That is better and I highly recommend everyone to do that. Although it may seem like time-consuming or wasting time, but better safe than sorry.
